The walls of the ground-floor extensions have been formed, and the screed poured everywhere that we are using the beam-and-block flooring. In this project, where there is a combination of new and old concrete floors, we opted to install a low-profile underfloor heating system over the insulated screed. This will give us a consistent floor level and heat level throughout, ready for the vinyl flooring.
